If that car cover will fit a frs I'll take it. I am in need of one.

I am sure it will fit. They recommend to remove the antennae when putting the cover on.

Although, the cover says "BRZ" right where the nose is.

I've been through a couple ideas. The sorta crazy one i mentioned a page or two ago was MUCHBRZ (like the doge meme). Up until last night, I was thinking about getting ZC6 which is the model code for the BRZ. I ended up getting plate '86'.

The trip to the SoS was uneventful. Ended up waiting about an hour and a half even though i got there about 10am.

@Kayysonie My total cost was $164 and that included renewed registration, recreation passport and the custom plate. They didn't give me a breakdown of the costs.

So I've been thinking about ideas for a BBQ for this group. What day works best for everyone in August? Either a saturday or a sunday but not the weekend of the Dream Cruise/MDU.

Also, any suggestions for location? Kensington is good but I don't particularly feel like shelling out $200 to reserve a picnic shelter.

You don't need to reserve a shelter. You can just call to make sure nobody else reserved it. If nobody has it, it becomes first come first serve.

I have some brake upgrade stuff that I'm looking to sell.
2 front slotted stoptech rotors and a set of front stoptech pads.
The rotors are brand new / never used. $120 for both
The pads have about 6k miles on them. $30

This would be an improvement in both performance and appearance.

PM if interested.

I assume you're referring to my SoS trip. My intention was to let the rush of people there at opening finish up and go in during the lull before lunch. Guess i was wrong.

My brake upgrade is going to work fine.

I ordered new rotors (bigger ones!).. but they sent me BRZ rotors. I didn't realize they were the wrong rotors until this past weekend.. and that was beyond the "30-day" return window that the website rules imply. So i would have to pay a big shipping fee and restock fee.. I would rather sell them to someone locally.. give a friend a good deal and not just completely waste the money sending them back to the vender.

The pads I have are the ones I've been running for a little while on my BRZ.. can't use them with my new setup.. but they are good pads with tons of meat on them. They will match really well with the rotors for a nice little performance upgrade if anyone wants them.

I can install for anyone interested... just throwing that out there.
