It may be the camera but it looks like you might be a bit far from the steering wheel. With your shoulder blades firmly planted to the seat can you drape your wrists over the top?

It's an automatic I think that's why he can get away with sitting farther from the wheel, and not sure if he found those proper driving shoes yet. It's when he was doing the full lock turn isn't it.

Modern tennis shoes have ridiculously thick midsoles like those horse leather boots you wore back in the farm, but stuffed with NASA space foam instead of cork. Way thicker than those rubber shoes sold by your high school classmate Chuck Taylor.

While they offer absolutely zero feedback in stepping on the clutch pedal, autotragic cars only have a gas pedal and this extra huge brake pedal to deal with which allow for a gangsta lean driving position.

Here's a documentary on modern tennis shoes.

It has more so to do with being able to turn the wheel more I think is what he's getting at.

It's been said but... sit closer, and PLEASE learn to hand-off around the wheel instead of hurting yourself by crossing your arms so far.

Other than that... look further ahead, think further ahead, carry speed deeper, and do a bit less cone to cone. You should have either been on the brake or the gas just about everywhere on that course.

....... you're missing the point, there Kiske .......

Ol @krayzie was saying he could sit back further because he was driving an automatic

I told krazie he was crazy because being an automatic has nothing to do with a good driving seat position.

Then @MuseChaser barged in with something about shaving his cat.

Then @nextcar babbled something about random

See what happens when @Tcoat isn't around .....

Now, ya'll please stay on the random topic ......

He doesn't seem to have even a fist size gap between the bottom of the steering wheel and his thighs. Could have picked a much better car than a Camaro to explain sports driving seating position.

Goto 3:10 for a much better explaination (turn on CC for English close caption).

Its the camera. Watched that Porsche seating position video that was linked in one of threads some time ago and its been set like that ever since. Wrists can draped over top of steering wheel.

And as krayzie said, those shoes stupidly sucks for driving. Trying out the Merrell shoes cjd linked last week once they come in.

I'll remember this next time. Yesterday was bad all around, just getting back into the swing of things.

Waiting for that 1 call back for a day job any time now. Flipping sleep schedule on a dime for racing isn't fun at all.
