I also was not fond of the off-the-shelf tunes, especially considering the most expensive tune I've ever had that I couldn't edit myself was $250---compared to the $1325 Visconti charges. However, FA20Club is a starkly different experience. He actually customizes and updates the tune for your vehicle, and is quite thorough. Always willing to answer questions, even if they're unrelated to tuning, etc.

Because probably not everyone with his tunes have had problems. From what I've been reading, it seems most of it has been with the flex-fuel tunes and not for a stock N/A tune to help fix the torque dip problem.

The flexfuel leak was a more notable disaster to be sure. In this case, most people are satisfied with an untouched reflash, and half the people on this forum don't know how to properly datalog to tell if their tune is decent. You see more active complaints coming from advanced users (forced induction threads) who are more cognizant of logging.

There is also a large number of people who will not speak up with any criticisms for fear of reprisal, as he is their only tuner, and they don't have the cash to switch to anyone else.

Bottom line: charging $1325 for a generic one-size-fits-all tune is unacceptable. Unwillingness to take responsibility for problems that arise with your product is also unacceptable. Blatantly disrespecting your customers? Also not terribly acceptable.

Tony @FA20Club.com is the man. No issues with my e85 tune for over 10k miles.

I was throwing C1201 and U0100 after dyno tune. They would show up only after driving at a constant speed for a few km. Received a new ECUtek ROM from my tuner and viola! Problem solved.
