Right, isn't the number one rule in sales to understand your product? At least in the sense of it's culture, purpose, and capabilities?

If someone asks I just call it the GT86. Toyota just should've called it this in all markets. 86 was the nickname of the original, but it was still called the AE86.

They don't sell these cars. The cars sell themselves, most of the salespeople don't even know the car exists much less how to sell one. Each time one of them is sold the salesperson is probably learning about the car from the buyer.

That was kind of my experience. They didn't even have one actually. After quizzing me for 20 minutes and taking notes they found some 'nearby' dealers for me to test drive one. Then they ordered (well tried but I was too late) me a brand new hyperblue (got lucky somebody else ordered one from another dealer and changed their mind or it fell through somehow). I was just happy they respected what I wanted and went out of the way to get it. (As opposed to telling me what I really want type deal...) I do my own service anyway unless it's under warranty but I will go back to them for the next Subaru I buy.
