Has anyone here watch Dr Stone?
I found it in an ad on APKNite and immediately falling in love with it.
Imagine having to stay conscious for 3700 years with nothing but your mind to entertain you. I'm surprised anyone is still fucking sane after that. Think about that shit. All you can do is think. You have no way to express your emotions at all physically.
You want to cry, you have to think about crying. You want to scream you have to think about it. All that and you can't even kill yourself. It's even worse if you don't want to. You have to think about sleeping simply — Jesus fucking Christ.

It's on my watchlist this season, but to be perfectly honest this is one thing that really bothers me about the premise. How were they conscious all that time without dying? Your brain requires fuel, but they obviously couldn't eat. Also, them breaking free by degrading the stone doesn't make sense because that implies they were merely encased in the stone, rather than being turned into it. Even encased in stone your body would breakdown over that time period. I'm sure if they ever explain the flash that transformed them it will be hand-wavy about how they were protected/sustained.

I know that sounds like me being way too serious about a show set 3700 years in the future, but these things bother me and I like to think. It still looks like a good show and I will definitely watch it, I'll just never be able to stop thinking about how they managed to stay alive.

Also, why did getting turned to stone give them weird lines around their eyes?

yeah I'm watching Dr stone, its okay...also watching a new one about getting stranded in space...its not bad either.

Update about Dr. Stone... This show really doesn't care that these characters are supposed to be normal high schoolers, does it? Smart dude is an utter genius that's also traveled the world doing research. And their newest member can kill a lion with a single punch as well as punch through stone with his bare hands? And he's an expert hunter. He also agrees to help them immediately upon waking up, promising to fight and hunt for them, which seems weirdly helpful right out of the gate.


It looks like the hype is suggesting this is going to be an amazing show, and I have no doubt it will be entertaining, but I'm getting the feeling I will enjoy it more like a popcorn flick than a serious show that blows my mind with plot and emotions.

Started Demon Slayer, and enjoying it so far, watched Goblin Slayer and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is pretty funny.

Hm... was it? It's a same studio and same Character Designer. Didn't feel much change, but again, I haven't seen the 1st season in a while, so I might need to check it again.
