Got a chance to tune another shop's (ILR) FR-S today with full catless exhaust (header, overpipe, midpipe, exhaust) and short ram intake.

The exhaust was fabricated by ILR, a local shop in Houston.

Runfile 004 - best stock tune pull after ecu reset:
Runfile 010 - ILR FRS, ILR catless header, ILR catless overpipe, OEM midpipe, custom axel back, with DDPR custom tuning:

Runfile 110 - Stock DDPR FRS with DDPR tune:

So,

Runfile 004 - best stock tune pull after ecu reset:
Runfile 010 - ILR FRS with DDPR custom tuning:

Runfile 004 was the ILR car with all the boltons but stock ecu tune after reset correct?

Yes.

It was also the best pull after the ecu reset. The other 2 pulls after reset were about 2-3 horsepower lower.

So a full exhaust picked up 10hp on top of the tune?

The ILR FRS that we tuned came in with the exhaust mods on it, so we could not do a stock car baseline. The best we have is our stock FRS baselines, and our tuned stock FRS baselines.

Runfile 004 is the first pull after reset with the exhaust mods and stock tune.

We then tuned the car and runfile 010 is the final tuned HP figure. If we compare that to OUR stock FRS (runfile 110) you can see where the gains/losses are from the full catless exhaust + intake.

Comparing it to our stock tuned FRS it looks like it picked up a peak of about 6-7 whp, and almost 15 whp at 7400 rpm.

When I said full exhaust, I meant to say your tune on the ILR car picked up 10hp over whatever was previously on it?

I don't have a full exhaust. It's still stock cat-back piping with just a axle-back. That's still a restriction for me

Look man it's not hard. The "ILR" car is my car. I had Inline Racing build my header and intake. Its not a shop car. They just said ILR bc they prolly didn't know my screen name.
