Well it was good to meet SilentAngel, samseed, and JosephNOTJoe at In and Out today. Samseed fog lights and intake mods where cool. And SilentAngel's catback sounded smooth. But JosephNOTJoe full exhausts now has me digging deeper in my wallet. We definitely need a larger central California meet. And next time my car will not be so plain Jayne. Thanks guys.

Silentangel's cat-back does sound sweet. I had the chance to hear it a while back.

I wish I could have made it, but I had a previous engagement.

I agree. We need to have a larger Central California meet. I think if it's placed well, we can get folks from Stockton and Sacramento as well.

Would anyone be interested in a track/autocross/car show day for a meet? SCCA has some events out at the fairgrounds and at Castle AFB; the next is a night event on 8/24, preregistration required to drive. There is a drift event being held by Fresno Tanso drifting at the fairgrounds on September 1. There are also track days at Buttonwillow (down by Bakersfield), Willow Springs and Thunderhill (will be far for some people depending on location), and Laguna Seca (they have good campground facilities).

There is an auto cross in Big Bear this weekend too just so you all know. Ill post info in a while.

Alpine AutoX, August 17, Big Bear CA. No-work autocross. $50 per car, limited to 50 drivers, 16+ runs. The course will be approximately 45 seconds long. The event is held at the Big Bear Airport.

Seriously, I've been meaning to hook-up with the SCCA group that shows up at Castle. It's "in my backyard" so-to-speak.

I have a neighbor with a sweet 911 that goes to Seca. He's been trying to get me to go out there with him. I really want to get onto that track.

I wouldn't mind going and checking out an Auto X/Track day. Dunno that i'd actually enter in it, but i am curious about them. Sounds like fun.
