If you make it a competition you'll never enjoy the car. Just make it yours.

Looks great!

I put on a polarized visor and turned the helmet into a poor man's Stig look alike helmet. But it's good for my peepers

Installed this "TRD" gas cap cover.

+5hp

Also cleaned an amazing amount of dirt and cobwebs from inside the gas cap area. Might be because of the wheel spacers it's throwing dirt up into that area.

Also got this in the mail. Strange free promotion from Toyota. Go to this site, fill out the form and send them a selfie of you with a Toyota (or Scion) and they'll send you a custom badge of your choice. Not sure what to stick it on...

Not sure what to name her! Had her two years and no ideas yet!

A few weeks ago I got the Berk dual tip muffler delete. So my cars plenty loud, and no need for the sound tube so this morning I deleted it and now the car sounds a lot better inside.

How so? What's the difference inside the cabin? I might get rid of mine because my exhaust is loud too

Since the sound tube grabs intake noise and is close to you inside the cabin but the exhaust gives you ummmm...exhaust noise and is farther away and outside the car the two sounds don't really line up. I understand that the tube isn't bad with stock exhaust where you can hardly hear it but gives a sort of weird effect when you can hear the note. Try plugging it first and see what you think.

I know they're different but I don't want extra noise in the cabin is what I was getting at.

I'll try plugging it.

Volume isn't all that loud but it does sort of sound weird that is why I explained it.

Dude of course you can compete! I <3 my 86 and still garner respect from cars costing 10x or more. If they've driven our cars, they would realize we drive something special.

A couple days ago I took my son out for a driving lesson (he has his permit and needs to learn to drive a stick shift) so for the first time since getting the Berk pipe, I got to sit in the passenger seat.

The sound from the tube is different and louder from the passenger seat. It's more grating. It kind of makes sense since it comes from right at your left foot that it'd sound louder. From the driver seat I was debating whether to delete the sound tube (without the Berk pipe, I liked the sound from the tube) but after riding shotgun, the tube HAD TO GO.

I don't know how it sounds from the passenger seat now, but my drive to work today was a lot quieter post-delete. The sound is less grating too. Next week I'll take my son driving again and get a gauge of how the sound is now from the other seat.

By the way- it is fucking terrifying having your 16 year old beat up the clutch of your car with only 1700 miles on the odo while learning to drive in traffic. I just wanted to crawl into the trunk in the fetal position and shake my head up and down like Rainman. Except I won't fit in the trunk.
