Should I go with Nitrous
Hey guys time for a fun little vote that is probably going to get me a lot of hate but I am thinking of running a 35 shot. The Nitrous will be more for show/conversation starter then a real performance upgrade. Just incase things go south I got some fresh popcorn on
Any input is appreciated be it good or bad. Edit: you can vote both popcorn and yes/no if you would like but please don't vote yes and no. |

My initial answer was "yes" but then I got to the 3rd option and well...
But in all seriousness, it's an interesting option.

LOL you can vote for both popcorn and yes if you want. I think its a road that is less often traveled and I am all about that sort of thing. Plus it would be research for the community

I vote yes. Direct injection. Don't just spray it in the intake.

Thats unnecessary for what I am planning. It will be port injection along with a seprate fuel delivery. First FRS to have 9 fuel injectors and 1 NO2 injector

Yes please do it. Don't forget big ass NOS stickers.
Also remember to reinforce your passenger floors, and manifold welds. And only run Mitchelin PSS cause those tires have been proven to add 10flbs of torque and 5 hp.

I had nitrous on a car once. The only downside was filling the bottle, making sure the bottle was heated up and at ideal pressure, not using it all the time, and also it blew apart my intake tube and K&N filter when I missed a shift / nitrous backfired once.
Other than that.... |

Everything I've ever seen about NoS says you need a blanket or you won't get a consistent shot and might blow your engine if the bottle is too hot. It seems like a good option for maintaining mpg while still having a little extra power when you need it

Does anyone know if the traction control is a fuel cut? I think it is and that would be bad during a shot. |
