New rear spoiler choice: Carsmo rear spoiler

Slight duck-bill shape, flows smoothly and perfectly matches with the lines of the trunk and the bumper.

What do you guys think?

MORE PICS! I think this is exactly what I have been wanting. THe 5axis didn't do it for me in person and I don't think the TRD will look right with out a kit of some kind on the whole car.

Is that a real CF trunk lid? Or just a wrap? My brother asked me the other day why they made a lightweight aluminum hood but didn't bother to make a lighter trunk lid . He claims it feels heavier than his 2011 VW Jetta's trunk lid.

Hey Ray, i really love the aesthetics of this spoiler. Saw that release date is somewhere around mid august.. can you buy chance give us a heads up as to what the price might be? (will you also be offering the spoiler painted?) and if so how much is the price difference. I think that would be beneficial to all. Thanks, and great work on that!

Will this spoiler cover up the holes left behind from removing a factory BRZ spoiler? Please say yes, don't make me trunk swap for this beauty!!

EDIT:

Sweet! I'll definitely be ordering one! I don't have my BRZ yet but I'll try to remember to take some measurements next week when I take delivery.

The trunk is wrapped in 3M Di-Noc wrap. 3M does not recommend using Di-Noc for this type of application but we did it anyways. The scotch print they offer now does not look at good.

Many companies that offer carbon fiber parts now make wet carbon parts that are not necessarily lighter than factory aluminum parts. Most of them uses heavy and thick resin coating with laminated carbon fiber cloth, and utilizes fiberglass inner structure. Those won't be much lighter than aluminum. Dry carbon is a different story.

Pricing information will be released next week. The spoiler will be available both painted and unpainted. Stay tuned! Thanks!
