It's all good
I like my Suzuki well enough, that being said I'm ordering a 2014 BRZ, just waiting for the dealer to call and say they can place the order.

Talk about no aftermarket? Try an SX4.

As for the manual/Auto debate.... I'll just say it like this, I hate automatics, they are for the disabled and people who shouldn't be allowed to drive. If this upsets you then you have two choices: 1) get over it. 2) learn to drive. Any monkey can select D, manage 2 pedals and saw away at the wheel. Driving a manual isn't hard, so learn. You should know how anyway.

That's funny since last summer the guy who rear ended my car at a red light was driving a stick, while I was driving an auto.

Really?

Because the FR-S is a pure driver's car, it ruins it (for me) to see that a bunch of them out there are automatics. It kind of kills the "cool" and "exclusive" factors, knowing someone who can't drive can roll up next to me in an autotragic FR-S.
lol some people think just because they know how to drive a stick makes them so much cooler. I don't blame you for saying that, you were once a civic boy... sigh... so sad how civics ruined so many good kids...

I've never owned a car that wasnt a stick, and I've been owning cars longer than some of you have been alive. That said, if I were buying a new 911 today, Id get the PDK. Not even a thought otherwise. If I were buying a Ferrari, Id shift it with those incredible paddle shifters. Those transmissions are amazing. They make the driving experience MORE complete on the track, not less so like some of you seem to think is the case.

To the rest of you who are somehow upset that your TOYOTA sports car that was designed to be affordable isnt exclusive: wow. Think about that for a second...

@Splat not sure how far you are from Nashville but if you come to visit we will show you the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee.

We have a very welcoming bunch of local owners, like @StarsGarrador and @schtebie and @Jeff86

You can still get with a 6 speed stick, ive seen it with my own eyes.

Though they might of gotten rid of for the newer models since they don't sell.

California is marketed for women.

lawlz at all the butthurt my post caused.

edit: by the way, super cars like the Ferrari use a double clutch gearbox, not an automatic slushbox. Pretty big difference. So if you are going to rip on me for thinking that I'm "super duper cool" because I drive a stick, I'm gunna have to rip on you because you think you are "super duper cool" for thinking your car has the same type of gearbox as a Ferrari.

Really though, my bad for offending anyone. Just my .02 cents. Been driving stick since I was 17, so I'm not trying to brag about how super cool I am. I just miss the feeling when you'd pull up to someone in an Si and know that you have something in common with them. I live in some congested city areas and I deal with it, so I don't find that an excuse - but if you've been injured and can't drive a stick there is no shame in rocking the paddle shifters.

Implying this is a bad thing. Your car will become more rare again and you'll have lots of spare parts. Win=win situation if you ask me.

I'd say that kids severely wrecking their cars is a pretty bad thing, yeah.

Soooo...Farmers, Construction workers, and others of the Blue collar variety shouldn't be allowed to drive?

The above mentioned are the core consumers of Pick-up trucks and Vans. and I'm not sure if you've noticed, but a majority if not all of new trucks and vans don't give an option for MT anymore.

I won't ask you to change your opinion, I'll only ask you not to go off insulting people who haven't done anything to you.

You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else, and we are all part of the same compost pile.
