A car from Ariel for the price of an 86

OK, technically not a car, but any car, or plane, or FPS. Simulator designed by the makers of the Ariel Atom for home and commercial use.

I need me one of these!

You have to provide your own redhead in the the racing suit I'm afraid.

I'm something, but I would't call it afraid.

My world got rocked when I clamped a Logitech wheel to my desk for late-night Live For Speed racing. This... boggles the mind.

I know. I thought I was rocking it with 3 monitors and a full compliment of flight controls. I feel so inadequate now.

Uh, your setup still sounds pretty serious.

I had to elevate the back of my laptop with some books so it wouldn't overheat half-way through a race.

Thanks, a view of the screens (sans controllers, but I have pedals, yoke and a separate throttle setup to go along with it) can be found in this thread. I'm planning on building a separate desk for it at some point just to make it easier to use and where I wouldn't have to disconnect the controllers to use it for "real work".

By the way, I've found 3 monitors to be very useful day-to-day. Now its hard for me to get along without it. The forum/home email is usually on the left monitor, work in the middle and Netflix/TV on the right when I work from home. Middle monitor is on a KVM between my work laptop (a fourth screen with my schedule) and my home "main screen".

Then prepare for a blown mind and a shriveled e-peen, because that thing is strictly amateur hour. I'll take a Cruden Hexatech, so what if it's 20x more expensive.

Well, if they giving them away, sure why not! But as long as we are dreaming, I'll take the full motion 777 simulator I got to fly once at a former employer for the win!

I think Toyota and NASA may have it beat.

Too bad Toyota's fabulous simulator didn't do anything for them in F1. I'm surprised the whole Toyota F1 group didn't commit hari-kiri when they packed it in, it has to have the most shameful record of any big-budget team in the history of racing.
