Vinyl/Matte Roof Wrap

Anyone thinking of wrapping their roofs in a vinyl or flat black?
Here's a couple examples from Google Images.

Any info on the cost and process of doing this would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Wesley.

I love it, i did it myself, took 2 hours.. costed like 75$ to buy the sheet of vinyl from premium auto styling.. they stated it was precut but when I got it the antenna cut out area was larger than the actual antenna base.. it pissed me off at first but it wasnt too bad when i got it on

You can see in those pics that the bumper is a different color than the car.

Yeah, its slightly different. Its because the paint takes on a slightly different color depending whether or not it is on plastic or metal. Its a knows issue, and its most apparent on white. There is a thread about it.

What does that have to do with anything here?

Haha true but at least related. I know if I do the roof I'll be doing the lip along with it.

I know that if I buy the vinyl, it may be sitting around for a while...

Nothing, just pointing it out. Was talking about the actual white paint. I am thinking of wrapping the roof and front lip as in the pics however so thanks to the OP for posting.

Not too bad cost wise actually, how'd you manage to cover up the off colour around the base of the antenna?
