I paid $2.20 in Huntington Beach last week and I paid $2.50 in LA this weekend

1.30 GBP per litre for Premium Unleaded roughly. In 'Merkin that's lets see....

$1.97 per litre, 3.79 litres in a US gallon...

about $7.50 a gallon.

Something like 80% of that is tax/duty.

A fill up from the light coming on to full costs me about $85

About a 45 minute drive from me, but it's been worth it.

Oops missed that bit of the title.

Apparently it was on sale here for a while, but cost nearly as much as regular unleaded. Claims are it gives you 1/3 less MPG so it turned out to be more expensive and not really worth it for everyday use and so it was withdrawn from sale. That and people being unsure if they could run it in their car.
