WHOA that was scary, accidentally slid the rear end today making a U turn without even trying, did a little mini drift...perfectly dry and warm out too.

Also, I got a parking ticket when I had a valid permit clearly sitting on the dash. Grow some fucking eyes you meter maid morons.

That sucks! I hate it when machines develop personalities. And no that's not sarcastic, at all. Awhile ago I was responsible for, among other things, two centerfuges that are used to clean fuel. They are 100% exactly the same, the only reason for having two is redundancy. To get the forward one to work I'd talked nice to it and rubbed it a little. The after one liked it rough. Scream at it, call it names and hit in the right spot and it would work. Without doing those things, they would NOT startup. You should have seen the looks I used to get if someone saw me starting one of them.

That's pretty bizarre. And yea, I can imagine you getting some pretty crazy looks if someone saw you beating a machine and calling it names to get it to work.

I have to wait for the car guy to diagnose my car. I'm hoping it's nothing too expensive or serious.

Happend to me before. I had to take my car to the annual technical inspection. The car never had any problems before. I get to the station and turn the engine off. Guy tells me to drive up the ramp so he could take a look at the underside. Turn key, click click...car wouldn't start. We had to push the car up the ramp. And to get home we had to push start it. Never happend again after that.

Wandered around the Seawall from Waterfront, around Stanley Park, Sunset Beach and to Yaletown. Remembered why I got so excited when I moved down here. Beautiful place Vancouver.

Too bad about the real-estate prices and a lot of the people...

My girlfriend has developed an intense love for German V10 road cars. Specifically BMW M6 and Audi R8. If I even joke about her getting something different, she looks at me and angrily says "Don't toy with me."

I'm telling you. The cars are trying to tell us not to sell them. "We love you! Don't make us drive for someone else." It's weird.
