Wasn't directed at you. At the guy trying to buy his way out of the Friendzone by anonymously leaving jewelry on a girl's car.

In all honesty if I were @ette I would be a bit concerned. To me this shows that the person is a bit unbalanced. Yes it may be 'nice' but it is also excessive and not exactly 'normal' behaviour.

Only thing I wanted for Christmas was to give the guy I really care about the Xmas card I made him. I work a 65 hour week and did everything possible to find time to finish so I could give it to him last night. Than today I gave my mom her gift and she made me feel like shit because I only gave her 50$ and not 100$
Fuck this holiday. It's only good for wealthy people. Anything less and people make you feel like shit.
Even tho my last day off was on thanksgiving I'm ready for today to be over. Going back to work never seemed so good.

Yes!! It's over. Now all I gotta do is throw out the smelly candles & the smelly soap, re-gift the cloths that don't fit, and I'll be done with this Christmas.


Edit. Ok, this seems horribly ungrateful, but it's the same thing every year. I'm a practical person. Smelly things give me a headache and I my size hasn't changed in about a decade. If these gifts were coming from someone I didn't know very well, like a secret Santa, my reaction would be vastly different. But this is stuff coming from my older sister, my grandmother, and my mom. All of whom have known me for the entire time I've been alive. It just shows that zero thought was put forth. And if that's the case, i just wish they would give me something I can use.

I'm sorry to hear that. Did you at least get a chance to give him the card last night.

My Christmas, like any others, is quiet. Just me and my mother. We don't talk to our dysfunction family, so ours was over in like 20mins. Probably spend the rest of the day on the computer. Very light snow last night and I'm sure it's melted off my BRZ by now, but I have no drive to go outside and check. I've been neglecting it the past few days. I hate the holidays.
