Heck.. i'm completely free this weekend. I'll probably be working on my car as well.. so we could do a BRZ mod day.

If Kask has already done the trans mount.. might be a good idea to head to his place so he can advise you as you go.

As for the oil change.. I strongly recommend the Fumoto oil valve.. it's awesome! take a tad longer to drain the oil, but it's super easy to use and you don't get oil all over your hands.. it's great!
I may take you up on this, maybe we should get all three of us together and do some work. For the Fumoto valve, I didn't have any issues with my first oil change other then making sure I had another crusher washer. I cheat and steal nitrile gloves and safety glasses from work!

I don't know what Kask has going on this weekend but my bushing should be here before the weekend and I could be persuaded to meet up and bring the beer and pizza if one of you guys wants to lend the tools/equipment.

Kask, great link for the oil, great deals. I think I am going to order the filter+oil+washer package, hard to find the oil for any cheaper then that.

I could do sunday or any weekday.

I actually have a home inspection saturday and assuming all goes well I will be closing on the house in May. 30'x30' garage with 12' ceilings to fit a lift Can't wait!

Wow I am jealous. That sounds amazing. My goal in life is to put a lift in my garage.

I am almost 100% sure the bushing will be in before the weekend so I may be over Sunday, I will keep you posted. The oil may not make it before Sunday so might have to do that another time, good thing it takes like 5 minutes to complete. The engineers actually made a car easy to work on, it is a miracle.

Anyone here been around Waterford hills or Grattan raceway? I really like Gingerman but it is a long way from Grand Blanc. Trying to get input from on what tracks are worth them money for a track day and what clubs are active in Michigan. If someone could give me some advise that would be awesome. I am looking into 3 balls racing if anyone has tracked with them.

Waterford is an excellent track, they have an OTD on April 21st.

3 balls racing is a good group to run with, they go to a lot of different tracks and they usually provide pizza.

BMWCCA, great lakes lotus, shelby club motor city, and AROC detroit also have track days around the state.

If you get that lift you are going to have a lot of visitors.

Good luck with it (for all our sakes)

Ive been around Grattan and Waterford (both for autocrosses, not track days) both are fun courses. Waterford Hills is literally about a 1/4 mile out my backyard (I really should just axe this autocross crap and set my car up to track ).

Waterford is a little narrow... and there is one particular turn coming down onto the back straight that is off-camber downhill that you really dont want to get wrong or you will end up with modified fenders. but on a OTD, just take it easy around that corner and it'll be lots of fun.

Awesome input! I will definitely be looking at Waterford hills it looks like a really fun track and I was reading that they recently finished the upgrades on Grattan. Here in Phoenix we have a few really nice tracks that I'm going to miss when I move but I'm looking forward to trying out the smaller tracks in Michigan because the people I track with down here all have forced induction on their FR-S/BRZ making me the slowest on our long straights. I will also be in Michigan for the Indy race on June 1st if anyone else is going I am front row in section B of the main grand stand. And I will most likely be at the Silver Dome AutoX on May 27th with my parents SRT8 Challenger.
