So your solution for my wish list is to move to Japan or Europe and then buy a special edition version of the car?

Not at all. Just making you aware of what already exist.

Why do you care about what they think? Do you tell them it is a Subaru?

Really, it was good enough from the factory. I lowered it because I wanted to scrape everywhere. I changed the interior silver bits to the black bits because I thought it looked cool. I got a big ass shift knob because I have a small penis. All the mods I've done were wants, and in pursuit of a look I was trying to achieve.

I don't mean that's the reason my dislike. I feel the same way but the fact that people who don't even pay attention to cars feel that way tells me something about the "youth" branding isn't working. At least not around here.

Somebody must have a giant dildo as a shift lever. Now we know what the real reason for all the MT (Masturbation Transmission) love is.

Fucking' sweet. Do those knobs fit the AT? They must if you have one. If I cant have a NAD on my AT I'm trading for an MT RTFN. What size Disco Biscuit?

People that truly know nothing about cars have no idea Scion exists much less think the others are ugly.
A big part of that is the complete and total lack of any form of advertising or marketing in this area. The very rare occasion that there is anything it is brief and doesn't do a good job of pushing the car on any demographic even the younger drivers they claim to be targeting.
Around here I get nothing but blank stares when people ask what it is and I say Scion. I have people guess it costs +$100K and could even pass it off as some exotic half the time.
Now those people don't know cars!
