Does anyone intend to NOT modify their BRZ?

Do any of you plan to NOT modify your BRZ?

It just sometimes seems like everyone is already planning on modifying their car before they even get it, almost as if the car was never meant to be used "as is" and is more like a starter kit or something.

Are any of you perfectly happy with the car as designed?

I want to run it stock for a few months at least, but there's always that feeling that you could have more, and that tends to get to a lot of us. I'll probably go Intake/Exhaust after a few months and go from there.

I won't do anything crazy like a supercharger kit or anything until a few years at least!

Like any car, more BRZ's will be left stock than not. Those people just aren't usually forum dwellers, or don't speak up as much because they're not constantly doing things to their cars. The biggest reason I'm giving up my sweet Audi lease deal (paying a lower monthly payment for a $53k Audi S4 as I will the BRZ) is because I can't modify the car. And it's a wayyy better car overall than the BRZ, but I can't personalize it, and that's no fun!

I'll be stock for the first few months. Not planning on any hardcore mods like FI.

I had mod plans, but will be stock through break in, and likely to remain stock until I approach the limits of the car. Once I'm "held back" by something, I'll mod it - but for now it's rather nice right out of the box.

All stock for me, unless you count tinting. Maybe an armrest if I find that I need it.

Stock for a while. First mod will likely be exhaust. Just cant stand the look of those stock tips.

Mine will be stock for quite some time... Would like to add mods but I have a feeling that my money will be diverted elsewhere!

I was planning on keeping it stock, because I will look to sell/trade it when the Sti or turbo version is announced.

That being said, I fully expect myself to fall victim to the mod bug once the first intakes/exhausts/ecu tunes are released. After all, everyone is doing it...*peer pressure*

Thanks, it's nice to hear many of you like the car as it is

I'm intrigued by the car, but if I bought one it'd stay perfectly stock except for maybe adding anything Subaru sold later on (preserving the warranty). I was just beginning to wonder if I was thinking about the car wrong, if it was meant more for track days and tuner people than ordinary enthusiast commuters enjoying it as is

I like the car the way it is. First thing I will do is tint and lower. Maybe in the future a lip and a duckbill perhaps an intake filter that's about it. Wanna keep it as clean and simple as possible.

I will probably leave mine stock, with the gas prices and stuff I don't think I need the performance parts to drain more MPG. it's great right out of the factory in my opinion. The only thing I might do is A. get a factory performance edition if any, B. Get Aero Kit etc My father doesnt intend on modding his FRS either lol bu tmost likely I will modify but just nothing to serious like turbos or headers etc. maybe just exhaust intake and aero
