Well its a small displacement, and I doubt it'll be able to flow as much as my K20Z3, so I'm going to say one of the new Garrett GTX2863s would be perfect for someone that wants minimal lag and could produce mid 300s with the right supporting mods.

Good news for you and me and all the rest of us... if you want to get 300whp with that compression, it will be really easy with only like 8 psi or so, run meth/h2o injection or Ethanol with that turbo kit and you can get to over 300whp I'm guessing.

HOT DAMN! 12.5:1 compression, 0.27 CoeF, square bore x stroke!

Forged lower compression pistons would be the best way if you wanted a mid-high boost engine. But enough turbo talk. Thanks so much Hachi and Aki! |

I'm really hoping for a rotrex s/c kit, the instant boost of a supercharge is perfect for road racing.
I had a custom turbo build on my Si, 478whp was useless in a FWD car, I pulled it all off less than 2 months later and went supercharger, now making 320 the car is wayy more manageable and still very quick. Dave saw my Si on the track |

I was also thinking the new B/W EFR turbo might work well. They are twin scroll turbos and they spool remarkably quick and spool efficiently in the top end as well. The biggest thing for me is finding a turbo that will spool by 3500-4000rpm but also flow well enough to not choke the motor at 7k +

Its gonna be expensive though...but probably cheaper than trying to get a turbo or supercharger installed in the FRS/BRZ.... |

Don't sweat it Fred_boosted! They were not laughing at you. Paying $1000 for a clutch is ridiculous! There are countless books and guides for doing this yourself. Tou have to be willing and be fairly competent(mechanically ) and if you are lucky have some help/special tools.

We get the same RON regular octane as Japan, it's the premium US 93 octane that we only have in certain states that differs since most cars are built to the lowest common denominator, US 91 Octane. I believe the lower compression has more to do with our stricter laws regarding NoX emissions. Ever notice that Honda stopped advertising lean burn? Quote:

I think low boost will be safe either way, if you want more go race fuel. |

All this means nothing if the tuning can't be done on a stand alone or piggy back though.

Maybe the HP and torque is underrated. We will have to put this baby on the dyno and see...Could be 200 HP to the rear wheels...
