E85 Jugs for Track use?
Hello,
I run E85 almost exclusively now with my boosted track car. I'm looking for feedback about which Utility Jugs you guys use for filling and transporting E85 for the track, It would only be in the jug for about a day or so, so I'm looking for short term solutions that do not leak and stuff that people have had good experiences with. Thanks! |

VP jugs are great for track use. For very long term storage you are better off away from plastic jugs. I only use e85 at the track and I switch back to gas as my car spends time in the garage between events.

I wouldn't even keep fuel long term around anyways. Chances are it's going to go bad. I'd rather get fresh fuel when needed.

VP jugs. You can save some money by getting the yellow "utility" jugs. Just make sure to keep them upright.

I use Pep Boys 5 gallon water jugs. They are made out of the same poly gas jugs are made out of, just blue instead of red, and don't have the stupid safety spout. Just a straight vented spout that will stop flow from the jug when the car's tank is full. I make a juice run once a month, fold the back seat down and can carry 11 of these jugs. About 15 bucks.
