I'm sure you're all happy with your new car purchases but there's got to be some things you absolutely HATE on it. Perhaps, something that Toyota/Subaru added or removed in this car that was or wasn't in your previous car(s)... could be cosmetic, mechanical, electrical, etc. Anything goes..

So let's hear 'em!
hey i remember you from 6gc

Clean and put masking tape on the body around where the plastic bit with the number plate lights touches, removing the plastic bit , clean the plastic surfaces that touch the metal with alcohol, clean the body/paint where the plastic touches, put a very light smear of petroleum jelly on the body, put masking tape all around the plastic as far as the edge that touches, put a bead of silicone rubber around the edge of the plastic. Re-attach the plastic lightly, ensuring it touches the jelly all round, and allow the silicone to cure.
The jelly stops the rubber sticking to the bodypaint so you can get the plastic off later if needed. Tighten up the plastic/rubber to the metal, peel off the masking tape, trim the rubber neatly taking care not to cut through the paint.

Do the same gasket thing around the number plate.

I also fixed in "window panes" of colorless clear plastic with silicone to stop water getting in via the light holes, and sealed around the key-hole. It is best to do that part while the plastic is off the car.
Just as a word of caution, petroleum jelly will cause most silicone rubber to degrade.

I think the #1 compliment I've received (other than 'looks nice' and 'cool car') is about how the wheels look good, specifically the fact that the painted wheels match the dark gray/asphalt paint.

Same here. Many people ask how much the wheels cost me. They are shocked when I say "about $30K".

I'm no hater .... gotta be a infiltrater , obliterater , and procreater! West side!

I dislike the rear window brake light (takes up too much room) , but will be removed for good once I go to do window tint. Lighten up the vehicle some
