People, this is a Cruise!
We are going to enjoy the ride up there by taking our time to get to our destination!

First thing I would like to say is Thank You to everyone that came out to Last Years First 'Invasion to Neptune's Net'. Since last year's cruise went so well and everyone seem to have a great time, This is why I am having a second cruise out there.
Just like Last Year, I NEED TO EMPHASIZE that Everyone that Parks in the Parking Lot gets something to Eat and spends money at Neptune's Net as they are a Business and we Must Give them our Business to Thank Them for letting us have our Gathering there. I've came to Agreements with the Owner/Manger of Neptune's Net, they are willing to let us use the lot the first part of the morning (9:30am - 12 Noon) for Our Meet & Eat. I would like us to try to arrive about 9:00-9:30am and be out of there no later than 12:00 Noon.
Just like Last Year, we Raised Money to Buy Toys for The Children's Hospital. This Year there will be a Raffle at 11am to Raise Money for 'LUPUS LA's Research Dept.' to help them Find a Cure for this Cancer.
I ( Joseph Quiles ) along with my Crew that will be Helping me out this Year will be Selling the Tickets at the Pre-Meet Location ( 5700 Firestone Blvd. South Gate, CA ) in the morning at 7:00-7:50 am.
**ALSO, I will have my crew walking around getting Signatures, these are only for my Safety, so incase anyone acts Dumb and goes and gets in a Wreck/Ticket/Fender Bender/Speeding/ETC.... These Signatures will release me of any Liability from anyones Stupidity! I URGE Everyone that meets at My Location Print and Sign the Paper.**
I will Also have Maps being handed out with the Lay-Out of the Route we are taking.

**Neptune’s Net INFO**
Opens 10:00am
Parking Lot Holds a good 60 Cars Depending on Weather.
Tends to start getting Pack at 11:30-12noon
Parking is AVAILABLE on PCH or across the street from "The Net" on the Dirt only if Parking Lot gets too Full!

Large groups doing a canyon run can be dangerous. Lots of opportunity for someone of lesser skill to attempt something they can't handle all in the name of being cool or satisfying their ego. know your limits (this includes your car's limits) and don't cross the double yellow and into oncoming traffic lanes. I'd make my own route, travel in a small group (8-10 max) then end up at Neptune's.

also, where's everyone gonna park? across the street? place is all hype, but a must see/visit if you're a F&F fanboy. I did a maze run of all the canyons one day and the guys convinced me to end at this place. parking sucked and line for food was stupid, and the food was meh. I won't eat there again but i can say i've been there.

guess you didn't read the detail on the fb page..

this isn't a canyon run.. just a group cruise
they talked to the Neptune's Net for parking spot. i believe they reserved the parking lot for the event for few hours.

sure, the food isn't that great but it's a decent meeting place
cruise on PCH and vendor sponsorship and raffle prizes are good enough to spend few hours next to the ocean.

As for a canyon run that's up to the individual driving but this is not a canyon run. Also your example is incorrect. It is safer with a larger group of people as the front driver can control the speed of the whole group (can drive slower so nobody can pass them or speed behind him. I would read the facebook post for the correct details on the event. This whole event is to raise money for cancer and is not intended to be a sports driving competition.

Thanks don't want people to get the wrong idea about this event.

Hope to see you guys at this event as there will be lots of prizes favoring the FRS/BRZ. Would not miss out on this. Over $5000+ worth of prizes/savings. Must go to event.
