Just skimming the numbers with the new cap hit, it looks like SSC is the 4th-largest class at Nationals.

Considering that this is SSC's first year in existence and the class is made up of a single platform, I think the numbers are impressive. (57 open / 12 ladies.)

Yes 5th heat again sucks, but at least it’s tues/wed so hopefully less opr.

Also the weather reports say it’s “supposed” to be cooler than normal. We’ll see lol.

If 5th heat was anything like Spring Nats, be prepared to be mentally checked out and forget the course by the time you run

Indeed, definitely makes it challenging. Spring events were so hot... Hopefully it is cooler like Brandon mentioned.

SSC is now up to 63 in open and 12 Ladies. Making it the 2nd largest open class, and largest combined.

Yeah, the class sucks and won't work. Bad idea to even offer it.

Also, SSC runs 1st... almost like they know how bad the tires don't like heat.

In D-Street, the monsoon conditions Tuesday created a very interesting situation in that it water levels were so high, that the skinnier tires of the twins were more beneficial that AWD of the WRX's. The wide-tired WRX's and Camaro's simply hydroplaned too easily. Driver ability in the wet also factored a bit, as the best conditions were on the 1st/3rd runs, with the 2nd run being seconds slower for almost everyone. Interesting Nationals!

Tuesday was the craziest day I've ever seen at Nationals, or any time being in Lincoln for an event for that matter...
