The guys doing 9.5" wheels have had to do some trimming, etc. I'm not sure if you can get away with 10" in front without more work, but look up user Jive Turkey. He has a thread about making 9.5s fit.

We have done 18x10.0 +44mm

Front: running 245/35/18 tires -- less than 3mm clearance. We ran 5mm spacer. So +42mm should work if go down to 245/35 tires.

Rear: no problem with 255/35 tires.

Apex N1 coil over, not slam, fender not roll. -2.8 cambers

Mark.

So should I go for a 41 or 40mm offset if I want to run a 255? Would that give me enough clearance?

ok stock tires were bald and ready to blow, so i slapped on a set of 245/45/17 on the back. they fit and they look nice, very grippy.

my question is......

will this tire size fit the front with no rubbing or camber adjustment?
it fits the back just fine but im worried about the front rubbing.

41mm or 40mm don't make much of a differences.

you can go 235/40/18 and do 245/35/18. Not much camber needed.

225/40/18 are too stretch, you have enough room.

I'll advice at least a spring drop.

I am planning to drop them 1.5inches on eibach sportlines.
So i would not need to adjust the front camber for my setup ?

Thanks!

Can someone help me out.. I'm just about ready to order my wheels but want to make sure im doing this correctly..

I was going to go with a staggered setup and 1" larger in diameter in the rear, but decided to go square instead.

I'm looking at picking up a set of XXR 527's in the following---> 17x8.25 5x100 +35

I plan on dropping about 1-1.5".. Will this be a fairly flush set up? I've seen 17x8 on the table chart with a +35 and a 1" drop and it looks good but the extra ".25" has me a bit confused. If I'm correct.. that means an extra 6.35mm.. does that affect the outcome of where the wheels will sit?

I'm losing my hair over here and just want to order these dang things already but don't want to get stuck with something I wont be happy with.. please and thanks to anyone who might be able to help me out here...

also, I plan on reusing the original tires just to wear them out, but plan on using a set of bridgestone potenzas from my moms last car, which are 245/45/17, will these fit as well?

I'm actually in a similar dilemma. Was deciding whether to go with a staggered 18x8.5f +33 18x9.5r +40 for the Gram Lights 57Xtreme but ended up ordering the 18x8.5 +33 square setup. Hoping this fits well on stock suspensions but I soon plan on lowering it 1" too. Any thoughts about this setup?

The 17x8.25+35 will fit well, no issues and should move you pretty close to flush on the front, in slightly on the rear.

Your stock tires will fit well enough on this rim, so I would reuse those as you suggest.

But the 245/45R17's will be too tall. They will fit on the wheel and not rub anywhere, but the taller diameter will give you slower acceleration, which is not a great thing on our cars.

No problems with that fitment at all. I'm running 18x9+35 so it is bit wider and I don't rub at all, also on a 1" drop.
You should be able to fit up to a 245/35R18 tire without rubbing.

Avant Garde M310 - 18x8 +30 - 235/40/18 with 1" drop. Looking for something flush. Don't want any poke but don't want them too much in the fender. Would that be a nice flush looking setup? Thanks!

That should be pretty flush, no issues.

I would also consider running either a 225/40R18 or a 245/35R18 to get you closer to OEM diameter, as the 235/40 is a bit tall (3% taller than stock). Doesn't seem much but it can make a difference.
