Absolutely gorgeous, but @ ~3500USD for a set w/o tires, I think I'll have to look for something cheaper.

It looks like the offset should've been +30. But good looking otherwise.

@Symbiont If you browse the used market you can have them for WAY cheaper. Or go with replicas (Rota Fighter 10/DPT), and for the price of one Volk you get a set of 4 rotas.

I have a question for @civicdrivr. I saw that you snagged these from NASIOC. What kind of offsets are WRX's and the like running? And do you know offhand if any stock wheels from other Subarus will fit (mainly concerned about caliper clearance? lmk.

Nice wheels. I always loved the CE28.

I wouldn't be concerned about caliper clearance. These are WRX brakes, so any WRX wheel should clear the calipers (and that means 16" stockers too!). The problem you're going to run into is high offset wide wheels; inboard clearance between the wheel/tire and the strut severely diminishes with high offset wheels that a Subaru typically runs.

The rears, probably. The front however would poke like hell. Ill take better pics of it once its dropped.

@dori. - Im sure you can run the '04 STi wheels or any of the other WRX stock wheels (as long as theyre 5x100). The 18x8.5 +45 wheels leave about 4mm of clearance between the rim and the strut assembly in the front. So with that info, you could run a 7" wide wheel with as high as a +64 offset if my math is correct. In other words, pretty much any OEM 5x100 wheel will fit.

sorry if i'm way off topic here... I just wanted to ask you...

i'm looking for an 18 inch wheel setup that won't take away too much of the "fun" aspect of this car. is there a specific width that's overkill for this car? I don't really care about track times, just want to eventually learn how to drift in it. Want to keep it as close to stock as possible.

Hey, that's my car!!! LOL... I've got a Whiteout FR-S with a tow-hook license plate bracket, and any day now my gold CE-28N's should be arriving. After they do, I'm taking them down to a shop to have the lips polished, ala limited edition style.
