not sure about the crank case pressure tho :-S, would you mind explaining to me how to go about checking this?? I have in the Radium DUAL catch can set up, which are vented to atmosphere.

it has not pushed any coolant out what so ever.

ive been suggested that it would either be bent valves ( when engine wasn't timed correctly first) or maybe rings ground to much. :-(

I appreciate your help
Before you pull the engine air up the cylinder and listen for blow by. Listen to the intake, exhaust, and the crankcase.

My mechanic thinks maybe the rings could have been cut to wide possibly, so he said he will get the rings and replace them. We have no vacuum leak, we have back check everything possible. We did the compression test and came up with this

Piston 1 - 95
Piston 2 - 90
Piston 3 - 98
Piston 4 - 93

Even though I'm running 9:0:1 compression I shouldn't be seeing such low results
They are all fairly equal which leads me to believe its in the heads or timing components

So, after not finding anything externally, we pulled the motor :-(

Upon inspecting the rings we found they were indeed cut a bit to big, not drastically. We replaced them and cut them over correctly and have put the engine back in last night and stared her up this morning.

Still, on intial cold start up it will not idle by itself, but after a while it definitely got to idle unassisted a lot quicker than before.

Still doesn't sound like I've fixed the problem :-(

My next step is thinking of flying in my tuner I don't know what else to do

Mechanic thinks it could be tuning related

We did this when we pulled the engine out, we could hear it going down into the crank case

NONE of the pistons had any marks on them to indicate there would be any bent valves

When you replaced the valve springs, did you lap each valve, maybe its you head and valves not seating correctly?

The initial startup rough idle is caused by it firing up on larger than stock port injectors. Mines done it for years, you get use to holding the throttle a bit for 20-30sec until it kink onto the direct injectors.

Yes we made sure we did this process with precision... we made sure all valve shims were gapped correctly

Pretty sure is isn't supposed to be this bad... to me it needs more fuel at idle. Especially on cold start

?? I didn't have this issue on my ID1000s. Not even on E85 in below freezing weather. Possibly tune related...
