I can see way to many cars/outlines in its design.

If that is what it looks like you can keep it.
It is, these are photos from Toyota Germany.

I would hold judgement until we get some nice large detailed HD photos.

Something looks off/odd/disproportional about the rear in that picture/rendering.

Definitely see the "family resemblance" with the 86, particularly in the rear quarter shot/render (I'm leaning toward render or it has been heavily processed).

Never trust a computer rendering.

I don't. Hard to even trust some pictures because focal length can distort image perspective.

I'll wait to see it in person. It may end up being like the 86; weird in pictures but gorgeous in person.

I swear the FT1 and GR concept should have never been shown. lol They both look way better than the production model. They say the CG was supposed to be even lower than the 86 but that hood line...Well I'm sure it will look nicer in person.

i would agree with the FT1. that was definitely a switch and bait. but it looks just like the GR Supra concept, but without the widebody kit and other racing gears.

The proportion looks off cuz the car is too short yet too tall. Looks retarded to me. Thanks BMW!

The racecar doesn't look as bad cuz of the wider body and lower ground effects.

Still think LC500 has it nailed.

I hate most things, but I like the looks of this car. Thank god it's not another massively oversized/overweight sled...

Regarding the apparent "tallness" and visual mass of the roof, IMO that is partially due to the top of the side windows slanting downwards going aft instead of following the contour of the roofline. For sure I'll take the headroom.

To me, its proportions are very reminiscent of the 240Z, which I think are about perfect for a fixed-roof FR sports car.

Still, I would have massively preferred a new 2-seat sports car based on the FT86 but with more cab-rearward proportions, wishbone front suspension, powered by the 3.5 liter NA Lexus V6 tweaked to ~330hp and positioned further aft vs. FA20 in the FT86. At ~2850 lb. curb weight (totally realistic IMO), that would have the same power/weight as this BMW turbo-powered Supra, ~9 lb/hp...

Anyway, if the U.S. gets the 4-cylinder variant of the new Supra and it's about $45k, I'll probably have to get one I wouldn't give better than 50/50 odds that happens, but we shall see...

still a bit of a bait and switch with the GR Supra...they had to give it a huge widebody kit that also had much larger wheel wells which made the car appear much lower and wider than reality.. They did a decent job grafting the FT1 looks onto a 2 seater but it appears the MK4 will retain its sexy title
