Hello my fellow "Series..." Owners. I was wondering if anyone was feeling incredibly helpful and generous. I would really appreciate it. I own a 2016 HyperBlue and I have the same faux carbon fiber dash bezels that Series.Blue owners do however my OEM head unit is not the same and thus, my bezel doesn't accept any traditional rectangle head units. Naturally, this is problematic because I want to swap my head unit and cannot without a new bezel. So, I was wondering if any you knew what part number the head unit bezel is specifically for Series.Blue BRZ's. Also, I will need a VIN to order that part and living out in California I feel I will be denied my purchase request if the VIN comes from somewhere outside of CA or a state close to it. So with that said, can anyone help me? Obviously I don't expect you to post your VIN out in the open but you could PM it to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are lots of Subaru parts diagrams available online and once you have the correct part number, you don't need a vin number to order a part. The other is just call a parts department and talk to a parts guy.

I can probably do it within 20 days, but I'd want it sticky'd along with the Series.HyperBlue VIN Registry just because it is a little bit of a pain in the butt to do it.

However, I think it will be great to have 10 years from now when there is a pre-owned market of them.
Have you been able to take a look at this yet? Thanks!

The HyperBlue Registry was sticky'd so I'm going to dig out all 1000 or so Series.Blue VINs! They're a little harder to dig up because they weren't built by themselves. The first 300 or so HyperBlue's were built alone so the VINs were pretty consecutive but the Series.Blues were built in between normal BRZ's.

It will take some time but I hope to have the list out within the next 3 or 4 weeks as I'll be doing a little each day.

I'm pretty sure the bezel surrounding the head unit from any 2015 model year will solve your problem if you want to upgrade to an aftermarket double din unit. All 2015 model years have the faux carbon fiber pattern, same as the 2016s.

Hey man, have you been able to make progress with this? I know it must be a pain, but you've got me all excited now.

Thanks!
