"The plastice fitting specs are the following brake booster or closest to passenger side is a 1/4BSPT to 10mm barbed 90deg fitting, the EVAP or closest to the drivers side is a 1/4BSPT to 8mm barbed 90deg fitting. If you choose to replace please make sure that the thread specs are replicated as severe damage will occur to threads on the casting if failure to do so."
Thanks for the heads up

I've had the intercooler kit for couple of weeks and today the fuse for the pump blew out. Pump stopped working and the coolant fluid over heated and over flow out of the coolant reservoir. Changed the fuse and it's working, I'll contact Innovate and see what they say. I'm not sure why the pump is over loading the fuse.

British pipe thread, FML.

Guys, when replacing these of course getting the proper thread is important but also be careful of galvanic action between dissimilar materials.

Does anyone know what material the original fittings are made of? I know they won't corrode, I'm just wondering if it would be more prudent to keep them and seal them better.

FWIW, one of mine going to the brake booster came loose on the track. I improvised and slapped a ton of lock-tite around it. When I called tech support at Innovate, they mentioned they couldn't source metal fittings which is why they went with plastic. Not saying you can't find the correct size but seems like they are hard to get a hold of.

Any chance you can contact them to find out what fittings were used? Quite a few of us are having trouble finding properly threaded fittings.

There is really nothing wrong with the plastic fittings, all you need to do is remove them and add (plumbing tape) and screw them back in tight before you install.
Make sure the 2 connectors going into the lamina chamber are properly sealed aswell.

the fittings i used screwed right in. BSPT is British standard pipe taper. You are not going to find those in the states. I know there are differences between BSPT and NPT but the ones I used worked fine.
