Having trouble deciding if the post I want to make today on the forums is worth it vs. having certain people *cough* tcoat/hum/ultra *cough* go:

You can come help me build my new steel topped gazebo. Instruction say it takes a minimum of 4 people and requires two 8 foot ladders. I am going to do it with two people and a 5 foot step ladder.

The instructions are asinine. They would have you assemble the whole upper outer frame and then somehow hoist that assembly up in the air and bolt the four posts under it. I plant to build two whole sides on the legs and then just join them together with the two other upper cross pieces.

Doesn't sound like the math works on that one.

Google says I could be there in 37 hours by car, or 10 days by bike. I guarantee I would barely be out of San Jose in 10 days on a bike.

Ended up watching the giants lose, having a glass of milk, and going to bed. Wild Saturday night alright!

Bubba suggests to build the whole thing upside down, then have three neighbors come over and ya'll right it.
