Well, I reckon it's best to transport rifles and shotguns in the trunk, where they are out of sight.

However, I have noticed that the pouch, on the back of the passenger seat of the FR-S, looks like it would hold a .45 ACP and a couple clips of ammo quite nicely....

Reminds me of the time when my youngest son (who was about 16 at the time) decided to go live with his mom for the summer, in the boonies of Missouri.

His mom called me and told me that he had snuck out of the house one night and him and his buddy decided to steal rifles and shotguns off gun racks in pick-up trucks, that were parked outside of bars, late at night.

He was lucky that the law caught him before some drunken, irate redneck did. The next day we went before a judge and the judge let him off easy by making him return the guns and pay the owners restitution.

My lecture to him went something like this: "Son, that was the STUPIDIST thing you could have done ....... stealing a drunken, redneck Bubba's prize rifle. Do you have any idea of what those half wit, inbred, hillbillies would have done to you if THEY would have caught you ...... ".

I love being the over corrective guy on the internet who nitpicks on the smallest of things that anyone with half a brain can still understand.

Yep, ya got me there, Phijkchu ......

I stand corrected ...... .45 ACP magazines...... my bad.

However, they do make .45 ACP "clips" (for revolvers) .....

I took the seat out to reduce weight, yes. Then decided I'd rather have convenient storage compartments. Then decided a handgun safe, for those rare times I have to enter a building where weapons are prohibited (like the post office), would be wise as I'm not comfortable leaving my weapon unattended in a car locked or otherwise. Otherwise I carry it on my person. Even putting it in the seat pocket isn't good enough for me. Additionally, I cross draw so it's comfortable(possible) to drive this small car while carrying and can be easily accessed while seated

Local Toyota dealer guy offered $300 for my license plate. Mine says T86. He drives a BRZ [2017]. Then, he told me his dad sold a 1960/1970's plate from his old Thunderbird for $2000 a few years back, so i'm keeping mine. LOL

Somehow I don't think $2000 will be worth much in 50 years
