I don't know what kind of Subaru my SPL Parts control arms are made for, but I do know this: It's not a BRZ.

And the stock ones go right back on!

They're nowhere near long enough! At full extension the induce bad enough alignment issues to obviate the need for a handbrake:: the car wouldn't roll away.

Though I contacted SPL parts and they just said overextend it, you'll be fine.

I see. Yeah, original instructions states to measure hole-to-hole (centers) your orignal arms and adjust the SPL arms to that, ~17.5". Caveat is you cannot extend the eyelet too far nor the main bolt (has blue ring nut) too far ("...can't exceed xx mm..."). Then install should be a snap. I've just adjusted mine to -2.3 with more to go and with some toe via the OEM toe links and somewhat the eccentric washer/ring.

PM if you need more help.

Pretty lame and stupid if you ask me. Just delays everyone and puts many people at risk.

I posted some pictures in the photos forum from a car show I went to while I was in Chicago this weekend. Some good looking cars there (non-twins as well :P). I particularly liked the green on this frs:

And this gold Mercedes has a bit of charm to it >.>

Not the same car, but that green looks really close to "Avery Emerald Pearl", here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...18#post1843318

@BlaineWasHere when you hit 60k who did your spark plug replacement? I'm getting close and am wondering pricing for the PITA of a job.

On another maintenance related note anyone need anything from CSG? I'm getting some fluids and have room in the box still if you want to save on shipping. LMK by Monday.
