I really like the toggle switches on the Limited as well.

And generally my cars with leather interiors were more sought after when the time came to trade/sell them.

But you can't really go wrong. If the dealer would have had a Premium instead of a Limited available I probably still would have bought it.
Same here, premium vs Limited, Limited vs Premium.

Want to bring politics into it lol? In the past 4 years I've gotten 4 different jobs. Each one with a pretty decent % increase in pay. So, when they ask "are you better off than 4 years ago?" Hell yes.

(limited BRZ here )

For a mere $1.6k its really a no brainer.... I wouldnt be surprised if there is an increase in price for the trim in the future.

Limited for sure. It's worth every penny.

Premium and limited is night and day. Plus come time to sell people are going to go for limited first. New car smell lasts forever in the limited. Then there is the little things like with the limited the interior car lights up when you get close to the car. Just a few small reasons for a limited.

Seems like most people prefer the Limited. I got the premium though as I didnt want the wing (my premium came with a wing any way), or heated seats. I did want the fog lights though but I figured I can buy it for $300 and install it myself. I did not mind having a push start button or the seats but I wouldnt pay more than $400 for them as there are other parts I'd much rather spend my money on.

In the end, I only saved about $1100 since my premium came with the wing but I think I can spend the $1100 on parts I would much rather have.

I spent $2k extra for Limited, which equates to 1.0-1.3 cents/mile. So while I initially paid an extra ~7% to get Limited, it'll only end up being an extra 2.3-3.3% of the total cost.

IMO, that was well worth it just for keyless, automatic/dual HVAC controls, and heated mirrors. The heated seats, leather/alcantara, and fog lights are also nice to have. I didn't care about the spoiler when I ordered, but it looks good in person, and is actually functional (for reducing drag).
It IS a good analysis....but keeping a car for ten years is not the norm.

also IMO they fog lights make the car look too busy with the DRLs. It looks more agressive having only the DRLs in the lower front bumper...alot like the M5 M6 and M3 all of them have no fog lights... But thats a pretty small thing to consider i guess. For everything else...the seats...maybe worth it...automatic dual zone air...in a car that small? i dont think thats worth it at all...and the spoiler.. i like the spoiler. besides if you are really looking to track it or are obsessed with performance, the limited does weight more.

lol i dont get how those EXTREMELY trivial things make it night and day? new car smell, proximity lighting and resale value? Seems like thats missing the point of buying a drivers car.

Price increase was marginal, so it was a no brainer for me.

Would also have paid extra for a nav delete.

The HVAC toggle switches are the biggest reasons I got the Limited. I hate the Corolla looking knobs. All the rest is just gravy on top of an already great car.

That and they color match the rest of the dash/controls.

Limited is the way to go. Definitely well worth all the extras you get.
