The guy I saw waved twice, so unless you were waving at strangers, then

Also saw a girl in a white brz on Woodward. (my autocorrect changed brz to bra.. that'd be a good sight on Woodward lol)

People...

So my neighbors surprised me with a little gift when I got back from the MDU drift event this afternoon...

Their car was gone when I got back and no notes or anything were left. I'll probably try to talk to them tomorrow to see if they have anything to say about it. Could definitely have been a lot worse, but man, it's not a good feeling coming back to see something like this.

For the gearheads here that work on their car. What oil do you use on your BRZ/FRS?

So I am using Mobil1 0w-20 as my first oil change. I haven't had issues. I notice though that my temp are higher than usual. Nothing alarming. When I still had my break in oil my oil temp never got past 220C and thats after hard driving. 208C on normal driving.

Mobile1 however was around 225C hard driving and 215C on normal.

I heard bad stuff about Mobile1 with Subarus, but that was mostly happening on boosted EJs.

Amisol is a bit expensive. I thought about Royal Purple but I heard bad stuff about it too.

Im getting ready to change my oil around 7.5k before I drive to the Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina and Tennessee. Im not going to be doing spirited driving there (cant promise) I just want to experience the twisting roads before I sell her.

Highly recommend the Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil.

The FR20 (5w-20) is perfect for our cars. Zinc enriched oil to bring out every last horsepower possible.

Reasonably priced, full synthetic, I change it every 5k miles.

I also use Eneos 0W-20. I get it from Napa though. Reasonably priced and from poking around the forums, its very well liked.

I also use the OEM tokyo roki oil filter. Also heard that its a very good filter so I see no reason to use anything else.
