old WRB vs new WRB
How are they different? (13/14 aka o2c and 15+ aka k7x)
I'm not a fan of 02c because it's way too bright for my taste where I think it makes the car look cheap and all. However, I heard k7x is noticeably darker and deeper than 02c and kinda wanna hear if that's the case. I looked up on youtube and google but they all look same to me and I guess it's because everyone uses their different lighting effect and whatnot on their cameras/phones (picture doesn't justify color anyway). I have seen 02c in a person because one of my co-workers had it so I used to see it every day on a work but have not managed to seen k7x yet. Is different noticeable or not much? |

Hard to notice in this picture but I was in an accident a while ago and the body shop painted my ENTIRE car the wrong color. Except the roof and fender flares. Zoom in on the flares and you can see the difference. I much prefer the darker blue. Will add a closer picture when off work that's just the only one I have off hand.

The old WRB is ok, but the new one is much more adult and has a glow. Just the way it is.

eh, just went through some pain in the ass body work, just try to minimize the pain, call up insurance (if it was done through an insurance claim) explain you're not happy with the work, take it back to the shop for a full respray or take it to a different shop and insurance/the shop should foot the bill.
Any decent shop 'guarantees' their work, mismatched paint is obscene and they should be on their knees to have it fixed. |

I cant imagine mismatched paint. My body shop guy, Larry, works to make it literally 98% factory in texture, depth, and 100% in color. Someone needs to put down the beer next time they work on your car. |

The beer comment is spot on, whoever gave the thumbs up that my car was done back to "pre-crash condition" (as legally mandated) did a shit job and deserves zero auto body business. You're very lucky to have found a good guy I've personally seen 3 shops do a sub-par job (unfortunately twice on my car), and if it's the Larry as known by a lot of the enthusiasts on the internet... well, perks of living in New York. |

02C looks more like what people imagine when they hear "world rally blue" and "Subaru." It is very similar to the traditional color.
The k7x is darker. That's the only big difference I have seen in person. |

Subaru has darkened WRB several times for some reason.
