Might be stupid but it's still a law, and if you're choosing to go plateless in front I think that pretty much means you agree to just deal with the fix-it ticket whenever you get it.

Just because a desk clerk at a PD says they don't use the front plate doesn't make it any more right in the eyes of the law, lol.

It sucks but that's the way it is.

I never had an issue when I wasn't running my front plate, but I decided to put it on so that police would not have any reason to mess with me in the future.

I've seen people singled out on group drives for not having a front plate and getting pulled over for it.

Yeah, I went without a front plate the first 1.5 months or so of owning my car (partially from waiting for plates to arrive, even). Even though no cops ever gave me trouble for it, I didn't enjoy them driving around me all the time because there will always be that one cop who decides to get you for it.

Yeah sucks and I get it the guy was trying to make his quota. He knew it's kind of a bs law, he was probably trying to pull me over to see if he can nick me for something bigger. Just sucks being singled out like that. I knew I would get one eventually at some point, it was inevitable.

Also I called the pd again to see if repeat fix it tickets get more expensive and I was told they don't. Each fix it ticket is its own seperate thing so they do not get more expensive with repeated offenses. Knowing that I will just put it on then remove it after its signed off and just eat any future fines. I think the car looks so much better with no plate it's worth the occasional fix it ticket fine and hassle.

Passed by two wrb wagon wrx throwing deuces (gave deuces back) going to livermore after work. That's a record for me! Is it a wrb thing? I noticed the car community in the eastbay area (can't explain) but WOW. I think i need to move in this area. Lol
