I was going to chime in on this too, but decided to refrain. I also wanted to point out that they were able to change pictures but not find the time to reply.

Hello Everyone,

We are a performance parts manufacturer at Sonoma Raceway who has been providing products and services in the Bay Area for 11 years.

When we were looking for FR-S and BRZ owners, 86_ZN6 was simply one of the few local enthusiasts who let us use his car for engineering and development purposes. There is no direct affiliation or representation on behalf of WORKS from any of our customers.

We were unaware of any issues until after posting our introduction and receiving comments about it. We stay focused on designing products and providing services in a quality, professional manner.

We are sorry to hear about problems that people have had with any individuals or vendors as any intimate car enthusiast community should only tolerate honesty and professionalism. After all, we are in the same boat as all of us at WORKS are car enthusiasts ourselves.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly as any feedback is always appreciated.

Going forward, we will continue to provide quality parts and services to enhance the driving experience of your FR-S or BRZ.

Sincerely,
WORKS Team

That wasn't a reply, it was just them re-advertising themselves. if they answered questions or let us know what was going on -- I wouldn't have said what I said.

It seems to me like this is their answer. They didn't know he was being shady, and he wasn't representing them in any official manner.

Can we all move on now?

Uh oh, have you tried scrubbing it off? Don't even know if that's what you're supposed to do in this case.

I don't think they are, but I'll check the next time I go out to my car.

Hm.. I've had my AB-M installed over a year now and around 14k miles... no rust issues whatsoever.

I also had a bad experience with JR but found Works to be very helpful.

I ordered my ABM along with drop in filter through JR here... ABM came within a week, a month later still no filter. Finally installed the exhaust, the tips were slightly unbalanced (one side higher than other). Went into works shop at sonoma, they gladly worked on the car for free until the tips lined up perfectly. I also asked about the filter, they had them in stock. With my receipt in hand, they gave me one on the spot, installed for free, and ended up billing JRs credit card for the one I got from their shop.

I also have a couple buddies with EVOs who highly recommend works... I wouldnt let a bad experience with JR deter you from working with Works... they seem to be good people in my experience.

I think the rusting issue must depend on the local climate or something, I've had my works ABM for 10,000 + miles, no rust whatsoever.
