Scion FR-S vs. Hyundai Veloster Turbo?
With both of these new cars coming out in the very near future, they both look to be great daily drivers with a decent amount of power to make them fun on the street and the track. Obviously they are two very different cars; FR-S being n/a RWD car, and the Veloster at turbo FWD car. But is anyone debating between these two cars of which to choose?

welcome to the forum, and before everyone has a chance to see this thread, you might want to look close at the forums setup, we have a topic called FRS\BRZ Vs... (enter your car here) thread\sub forum. Again welcome but de a search first, and yes this is a great debate and is talked to death in the other thread. you might want to have a forum mod close this one down.

I'd choose the Veloster. When I saw the FR-S yesterday I wasn't very impressed to be honest. It felt like a cheap car compared to the BRZ, I really hope they offer different trims with leather or something

i think it depends on what you want..
if u only want to go fast in a straight line the veloster turbo would be quicker i guess because of the torque. Cornering would be in favour of the gt86 of course. I think a great deal will depend on how good the setup of the veloster will be and if it can handle all the torque and power. also the veloster would be easy to mod to 250 bhp+ withou mods what so ever. anyway i would take a gt 86 over a veloster because of the looks of the gt 86 |

I'd never consider a Hyundai, let alone a FWD Hyundai.

Why, WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE AGAINST GIVING A VEHICLE A CHANCE. JUST BECAUSE OF A LOGO?! Can you imagine if the rest of the automotive world held this mentality??? Honda, Lambo, VW, Toyota, Porsche and Aston Martin would be the only franchises in business. |

Hyundai makes some good cars. I'd rock a Genesis (non-coupe) R-Spec, dope.

Well, I can attest that Hyundai isn't the most reliable. Logo means a lot when it stands against the reliability of their cars. Also, they aren't very luxurious unless you get a Genesis sedan or Azera...

Hyundai has had a MAJOR overhaul the past few years when it comes to design, reliability, and making cars that consumers actually want to drive; all starting with the Genesis Coupe. Before that, consumers only went to Hyundai because they had affordable cars. I think that the public needs to re-think and take another look at Hyundai, they are the fastest growing auto manufacturer in America right now, and for a good reason too!
