Small Update
- Perrin overpipe on and it seems to make contact with the sway bar in 2nd gear and a little in 3rd gear at WOT at mid-high RPMs. - I flashed Moto-East's new tune which is geared to smooth out the lower RPM roughness under light throttle. From a quick spin around the block it feels much better.

Small Update:
The Perrin over pipe is making contact with the sway bar (or maybe the LCA) in 2nd and 3rd gear under WOT. Also when cornering heavy to the left. I'm going to get some spacers/washers and try to lower the subframe a few mm's to see if that will take care of it. The tune seems to be off from 1.8k-3k rpms, breaking up a lot so I'll be working with Moto-East to iron that out. I received my Poor Boys Wheel Sealant to help keep some of the race pad crud off of my wheels. I decided to treat my OEM wheels first to see how it works. I didn't spend a ton of time cleaning them (more just spraying off the cob webs). It goes on easy and you can feel it like a coat of wax. I plan to spend a lot of time on my ESM wheels (it's going to take a long time) but apply 2-3 coats. Also, long down the road but I really like the Bride Low Max Sport seats. Perhaps in a couple years I might swap them in: I've got tracking on my tow-hitch receiver and expect the Perrin Oil cooler to show up next week (fingers crossed) so I'll have some updates when I install those. Still mulling over the Perrin CAI or cutting up my AEM intake. TBD

Update:
I receive my tow hitch receiver tomorrow. Looking into the Perrin oil cooler. I decided to try adding flat washers to the sub-frame mount bolts to add some space between the over-pipe and sway bar. I also filled up on some E85. My 93 tune was just feeling pretty terrible in some spots so I wanted to make sure it was the tune and not something mechanical. It's running great on E85 so I think I'll need to work with Moto-East when I get some time to get my 93 tune ironed out. Here are the washers I picked up. I'd recommend using two-three of the 1/2" washers per bolt: A little more clearance: A little close to the sub-frame but unsure if it's making contact under load: I threw the stock wheels back on so I can fully clean and treat my wheels with the poor boys sealant: Driving Impressions: I'd say about 99% of the contact is gone! I still hear a slight buzzing sound at certain RPMs but not sure if it's the pipe buzzing on something or a gasket failure. Perhaps I can try using three washers or add a thinner one. I'm running two per bolt. The stock tires are funny, that is all.

Update:
I ordered the Perrin CAI in black. I also received my tow hitch receiver: Also these wilwood race pads...ughh I spent about 45 minutes trying to clean the front two. With a ton of different brushes. Anything more serious it will take the finish off and leave scratch marks:

I'm sorry but I think it's unacceptable to have ANY rubbing with exhaust components. Why should you even need to resort to washers if the part was engineered properly?

Sorry to hear that the 93 map is not working right. Hope that gets smoothed out soon.
Your car is badass btw!

Thanks man, I'm leaning heavy towards the WMI route with a 70mm pulley (when available). E85 is great but it's not that convenient to me and I'm seeing a loss of about 25% fuel efficiency. I have to burn 2 gallons there and back so it's not that practical (plus the time wasted). I want to obviously get the base 93 map worked out before doing anything else on that end. There are just a few spots where it's hesitating at low throttle input. I wanted to run E85 to validate it was the tune and not something wrong with my set-up or install. Mike is responsive but I'm hopping to line up a day to dyno tune it. Especially since I'll be adding the CAI which might further throw off the MAF. Ptuning is local to me and they have good experience with WMI so they are an option if I can't get time to work with Moto-Mike. I'm starting a MBA program next month, so I'll have less time for car stuff.

The PERRIN overpipe will fit with the upgraded 19 and 22mm bar. We design our parts to fill the same spaces as the OEM, so I'm thinking the bar being used right now must raise a little higher than the standard bar would. We haven't heard anyone else with this issue, but will keep an eye out to see if anyone else has the same problem. |

Hmmm...I was really hoping to pick up a Innovate S/C, but with all those mods you're only seeing 237whp? Similar setups with the Vortech charger are at 300whp. Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way bashing your build, it is top notch. I'm just mulling over FI and the difficult choice I need to make soon.

You also have to remember, All Vortech cars have an Air-Air intercooler. Innovate has not yet released a Water-Air intercooler system yet. Cooling the charged air will make a difference.

I may have missed it, but what are you using to clean your wheels?
