i see this as a fail. the 86 has never been marketed as a race car. after Fast 6 people are gonna even more think it IS supposed to be a racecar...and the trolling will commence..

There's a lot of that in the movie... for example, when Vince is hanging by the cable from the semi truck, when Dom is reaching for him, there are some scenes where he goes back and forth between wearing a white shirt and wearing a brown sweater, or when Brian is calling for help when they finally get Vince down, the phone switches between Brian's hands.

If they're using it in Europe MAYBE they're going to display it's handling prowess through narrow streets?

They're damn near the same car. People know that they're practically twins, so using FR-Ss wouldn't make it any better. It's not as if seeing the BRZ onscreen is going to make kids pony up the extra cash for it (rather than an FR-S) just for the sake of saying you have what was in the movie.

True. Plus, I've generally seen a shrinkage among the "walmart tuning" kiddies as opposed to a few years ago when the first F&F came out. And I'm okay with that. But no matter what you get (FR-S/BRZ/86, etc), someone is going to have one and make you face palm because it looks like shit lol. Just respect your own car to know what it deserves and what it doesn't.
