Anybody who complains about Miller vs Bud should be shot for having a preference over light beer. They all essentially taste like water with a bit of wee.

I will take a mass produced lite beer (correct spelling according to marketing) over some skunky ass, pretentious, micro brewery, hipster shit that so many people love to pretend to like.
"This is the house specialty. It is a nice IPA which has been infused with pine tar, used motor oil, chives and nutmeg. It is then filtered tough greased squirrel intestines and served in a hand thrown Tudor style ceramic mug. It is best served at two degrees above room temperature. I think you will really enjoy it while listening to our jazz ensemble that appears to be playing four totally different things at the same time."

Life's too short for either of those. I will have good beer, or nothing. Thank you.

Went and had a beer downtown tonight. Hefeweizen.

One of those weeks.. Unfortunately the drunk crowd was out. Made it nearly impossible to just chill on the patio with my beer because of people just howling and shit.

Sad because the place I was at is supposed to be a 'classier' bar kinda place, not some hole in the wall ghetto ass downtown bar.

Define a "good beer" without using subjective terms such as "it tastes better". Beer snobs are much like car "enthusiasts" in that they like to talk shit about anything they don't like while ignoring that the majority have no issue with it. It is hard to argue that 3 of the top 5 beers sold in the USA are lite ones. Sure it can be said that part of that is because they are cheaper but at some point it has to be recognized that people actually like it as well. If the lite beers were the crap that so many like to pretend people just would not buy it no matter how cheap it was much less make it the most popular.

What makes the list of the most popular "bad"?

1) Bud Light.
2) Coors Light.
3) Budweiser.
4) Miller Lite.
5) Corona Extra

Maybe you need to join those people that are howling and shit. It could be what you actually want to do and just don't know it. You could chill by yourself in perfect silence in your own home if that is what you really wanted. It is very rare that people go to any bar no matter what it's level of classy to sit in silence and solitude.

Back in the day, I would have had a large glass of vodka with a couple of ounces of Clamato -

YIKES, spike021, you're just not having a red letter week -

Tis the season for many folks to stop after work, get stinking drunk and get into a fight or try to seduce a secretary from work.

I suggest you go to a higher class place, let a middle aged, wealthy woman pick you up, let you drive her Ferrari back to her house. After she ravishes your body all night long, and morning comes, let her buy you breakfast at her country club and drop you off at your car.
