That's all there is to it.
Wow, that's it? Does anyone have a picture of where it connects to? Or is it so obvious you don't even need one? I'm ordering this!

Look under your steering wheel down where the pedals are. There should be a plug that looks something like this (image taken from google, not exact location, but that's what the plug looks like):

Plug the transmitter into that with the car off. Turn the car on, and pair it with your bluetooth phone/tablet/device. That's it!

If it's not 100% clear from cfusionpm's post, go down to your accellerator pedal and then look/feel directly upwards. It's the port that the dealers/manufacturers use for diagnostics so it's meant to be easy to find. If you can't find it you're trying too hard

Just got my Android II A955 and the torque app and it works great! For a total of $80(Phone $45, OBDII Reader $30, and app $5) you can have pretty much all of the diagnostics you could ever want...

Unfortunately, I installed the stock intake, so I can't check the temps on the Injen now. lol I'll post my findings if my friend lets me test his.

Friend's Injen intake was idling at 34-36c with a 30c ambient, but it was only a short run to my house so I suspect the test was inconclusive. I am getting 35-40c intake temperature with a 31c ambient on stock intake, albeit slightly modified.

Can you explain where you get a bluetooth adapter from? Sorry, I am so ignorant with this new tech stuff lol.

We had a dyno session yesterday. The weather does take a toll on power output. On a very hot summer day, 36-37 deg C (98 deg F) in a tropical country like ours, two stock 86s running 100 RON ocatane fuel only managed 152whp and 127tq on a Dynojet. My car only managed 162whp and 134tq, and this was with a Milltek Full system (over pipe, cat-delete front pipe, resonated catback), Takeda intake, Unichip EMS. Another tuned 86 only managed 157whp and 134tq (same Milltek full exhaust as mine, but with Injen intake and Ecutek tune). I don't think I've seen numbers this low in the forum LOL

Search ELM327 bluetooth OBDII
Hint: DO NOT buy the USB version like some people did

What's modified on your intake? Really need to do tests over a 15-30min period as the engine isn't fully up to temp until 15 mins-ish.

I deleted all resonators and the sound tube. My findings have been that it idles around 6-8c higher than ambient and is 3-5c higher going down the road at 45mph. At 70mph, it's near ambient. I can't wait to get my silicone intake tube!(ordered, should have by this weekend or early next week) When I get the money, I'll be replacing the stock airbox with a Perrin CAI as well. I imagine the intake temps will be top notch then.

Never had a chance to test @enjoi23 's Injen after a drive, but may in the future.

In theory, with an android head unit, wouldn't you be able to connect it to the Bluetooth adaptor and get readings right off the screen?

Yes, you have to download the app to use it. Torque Pro full version will let you do all that. Cost is only $4.99 for the app.
