Had my Sports-i's installed about 3 weeks ago, love them on the road. Question about yours, at very low/no speed I am getting minor clunking from the front springs, do you experience the same? I know this can be normal for some coils, unsure about Sports-i's though.

I do get some clunking. It almost only happens during driveway ingress / egress. They have thrust bearings and really shouldn't be doing it, but they do. It doesn't bother me at this point, as I've had them now for about 7,000 miles; I take it as "normal."

The occasional clunking is absolutely the only negative that I've found. Otherwise, the coils are absolutely phenomenal. They are, without a doubt, the most comfortable, daily-able coils I've ever owned.

I had removed the chrome when I first got the car - I was anti-chrome from my Miata days - but I ended up liking the way the chrome looks. I'm going for this OEM+ look, so it jived well with my theme.

I wouldn't go with the chrome on darker colored cars with darker colorways, but it looks great on white - gives it some much needed depth.

Oh shizzz I gots people here! Thanks y'all. I'll take more pictures soon - only major change is the tint.

The CHP got me so I had to strip the dark stuff. i ended up retinting with 3M Crystalline (CR70) film. It lets 70% of light through so it looks nearly stock, but has phenomenal heat rejection properties. Best of both worlds, IMO, and certainly less conspicuous (plus I got to tint an additional window......)

I'm back in AZ, but float between Phoenix and LA regularly. Job op in Bay Area didn't pan out :/
