I just finished reading all 18 pages. I wanted to ask a few questions. I have been running the Vortech kit for a few years now. I got it during the spring blow out sale that Visconti did back in APR 2013. Good kit no problems, never had an issue with the tune, but I have never put it on a dyno to what kind on numbers it's putting down.

I am now wanting to get the flex fuel kit and the Fast & Go tune. I am not sure if I need them both or just the the flex fuel kit with the tune option. Dose the FF kit have the F/I tune? Dose the FF kit come with the mounting bracket? I saw that it was extra on the website.

Second, When I got the Vortech kit from Visconti it came with the smaller pulley, larger injectors and larger fuel pump. I never installed the parts. I was told that it was needed for running E-85. Is this still the case? or will the stock fuel system be fine?

If you want to go flex fuel, you will need the flex fuel kit from delicious, upgrade your injectors, and you will need to purchase a tune for flex fuel. From my understanding, you can use the stock fuel pump to about 12-13psi. With the pulley from vortech that comes with the kit out of the box, from what I remember, is a 9psi pulley so you should be fine with the fuel pump. You can use the smaller one that pushes 11-12psi with no problem. I was on stock injectors and fuel pump with the 11-12psi pulley before I went turbo. Currently, I am at 12psi with my turbo kit with e85 using the stock fuel pump and upgraded injectors with no issues. As for the bracket, I'm not sure if it is extra, but it cleans things up real nice and I would highly recommend it.

Hope this helps

p.s. those of you waiting for 16.2, I am on the beta and will say that it is F*CKING AMAZING! Total night and day difference. You guys will love it.

I'm not quite sure what size pulley he was running, we'd have to check the logs to see what the boost was.

If you'd like, you can PM me directly and I can give you a thorough price quote so as to stay within the rules here. As for mods, if you're going Flex Fuel you'll immediately need those upgraded injectors installed. For the short term, your stock pump is fine, but since you already have an upgraded pump laying around it would be prudent to install that at the same time. The Flex Fuel kit does come with the mounting bracket. We offer it separately for customers with other kits that use the same sensor and like our mounting solution

Sincerely,

Zach

Hey all, I'd like to announce the official of version 16.2 of our Flash & Go tunes. Version 16.2 offers these improvements over 14.65:

1. Greatly improved low end drivability.
2. Improved idle (Stock Rotating Mass & Compression).
3. Improved top end power (~5-10whp on top).
4. No more low RPM hiccups from 2-3k rpm.
5. Fuel economy maintained.
6. More responsive throttle, especially at low RPM's.
7. Scaling for nearly all MAP sensors.
8. Scaling for more injectors including FIC and ID. (DW is still preferred).

Similar to our 14.65 release, 16.2 will be available to all prior customers in one of two ways.

If you're currently running 14.65 or newer, the 16.2 update will be free of charge. For all free updates, there is a turnaround time of about seven business days. If you want to expedite your update, you are welcome to pay a $65 fee to prioritize your service.

If you're currently running a Flash & Go older than 14.65, there will be a required $65 upgrade charge. All paid updates such as these have a typical turnaround time of about three business days.

Sincerely,

Zach

Hey Yomny,

You'd simply send me an email with your full name and the kit you're running so we can locate your old file with which to update.

So I am still on a flash and go tune due to a lack of local tuner...
What numbers are people seeing with the flash and go tunes.
My JDL kit on a dyno made 282hp with 700cc injectors and a dw65c pump.
I am running a v14.55 tune.
Is the low power number because my tune says 91oct? I am running 93oct, my original tune showed 93oct?

Keith,

Did you happen to fix those injector harnesses that you were popping codes for a couple months back when we last spoke?

Sincerely,

Zach
