Billet Pro Shop aluminum short throw shifter and spherical knob

Hello all,

Putting my car back to stock to sell. Here is one of my favorite mods to this car: A Billet Pro Shop short throw shifter! The stock shifter has a cheap plasticky reverse lockout that makes a cheap plasticky sound when you use it. The BPS shifter makes the shift action feel like operating a bolt-action rifle; it feels so crisp and precise, but isn't too short or notchy. Best of all, it replaces the plastic reverse lockout mechanism with an aluminum lockout lever that feels great and eliminates the annoying suction noise. The spherical shift knob is sized right and anatomically correct, and overall adds a touch of class to the interior.

I paid $225 for this shifter originally; $175 plus shipping or local pickup near Boston, MA. Please PM or email me for PayPal and shipping info. The shift knob is not included in the sale; it has been sold separately. Thanks!

Just switched back to the stock shifter; what a difference! I seriously recommend this shifter even if you don't buy it from me haha. I'll take a picture of it out of the car shortly.

Looks great! Is the reverse lockout removable? I'd like to powdercoat that blue if I got it.

Def interested. Just curious how tough the install was. The construction looks top quality!

It was pretty easy to do with regular hand tools. The only tricky part is getting the rubber boot off the linkage under the shift boot without tearing it. I hamfisted mine and tore it a little. It takes roughly an hour to install and adjust. When you get it installed you have to make sure the lockout mechanism is adjusted properly before buttoning everything back up. I can walk you through it if you like.
