FS: New BC Racing BR Type adjustable Coilovers

SOLD
These are BRAND NEW, never installed.
Custom spring rate:
Fronts: 5 kg/mm
Rears: 6 kg/mm

I decided to sell my FR-S before I had a chance to install these.
I chose the spring rates because it's what Moto-P spec'ed for his RS*R group buy and I wanted something that improved the on the factory ride while raising the handling limit.

For those of you who don't know, the BC Racing BR type is a great coilover for the price because it has a few higher end features:
  • Built in front camber plates.
  • Bearing in front strut mount prevents the spring from binding.
  • 30 levels of damping force adjustment.
  • Fully rebuild-able
  • Both ride height and preload can be independently adjusted

Sorry for the bad mobile phone picture, I will try to get more tonight.

No, the stock springs on these are 8k, As the description says I went with a softer rate of 5k front and 6k rear because I wanted a softer ride than stock, but the adjustability to raise the grip level.

I appreciate the mention of using the spring rates I chose for the RSR for our Club4AG spec, RSR Sports-i coil-over.
Keep in mind though, the spring rate might be the same but it won't be the same suspension since RS*R is a internal design, patented valve monotube... And each system is cased with individual piston and valve spec for each specific car, hand built and made to order. Sports-i and Black-i by RSR are hand-assembled and tested entirely in Osaka, Japan.
The reason the RSR Sports-i rides so nice is all in the specific valve they use in the shock, despite the relatively high spring rate.
I'm curious as to how these match up to the spring rates we chose for the RS*R Sports-i.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to say they were the same as the RS*R I was simply trying to explain why I chose the spring rate that I did.
I wanted something That had a bit nicer ride with the adjustability to raise the handling limit if needed.
As for how they compare, I don't really know since I never actually installed them.

Fair enough, thanks! I'm curious, so give me feedback on those too!
