Seriously, my only regret is I didn't go with higher rate springs. I'm thinking Tein's recommendation for their SRCs of 10k/12k would have been perfect but how was I to know? Ah well. First track day with the dampers 9th March. Wooohoo!
Well you can always just order more springs...

Most cars we set up are 9/11, 10/12, or 12/14. ALL of these cars are street driven, except one.

[1] Yeah, I have considered that but in the grand scheme of things it isn't important. Given my wallet is still bruised it something I will think about some other time.

That's definitely what I'm hoping to do this year. I was just talking with @CSG Mike and I was contemplating making the 35 hour drive to get a ride with the CSG-Spec Tein SRC. Maybe I can get him to meet me halfway or something.....

If you cover the trip, I can probably convince someone to let me drive PIR or something around there...

rubber end links?

A question for @Captain Snooze. I hadn't realized how much swaybar crosstalk is screwing up my ride until I read this thread. The question is, "What do you think of replacing the heim-joint swaybar end links with end links that have metal-sleeved rubber donuts on each end? (see picture)

The rubber end links will have some flex for small bumps and vibrations, but still provide some sway prevention. The struts won't have to work so hard to control the extra spring pressure of the 21MM OEM front swaybar. I could use the rubber end links for the street, and the heim-joint end links for the track.

Well @captain_snooze, I tried my end links and they didn't help much. Yesterday I removed my front sway bar and installed my Bilstein HD's. They have BRZ front springs, (27 N/mm (153 lbs/in)), and FR-S rear springs, (37 N/mm (211 lbs/in)27.75(158.45 lbs/in)). The ride is better without a front sway bar. The last time I had these struts on my car, I found them to be intolerably stiff. Since they aren't adjustable, they make the perfect test struts for testing the effect of sway bar removal. Later today I'll remove the rear sway bar and try that out as well. I'm beginning to think that all a person needs to do to make these cars ride better on the street, is to just remove the sway bars. I'll know more after removing the rear sway bar as well. Thank you @captain_snooze for pointing me in the right direction.

They are a real PITA to get out. I ended up cutting holes in mine with a hole saw, then cutting radially out to let them spring inwards.

It's not a job I'd want to do again!!

Do you still like your AST ?

I just found they are in Nerderland, which put them on my list.
That plus digressive valving and we have a JRZ RS Pro challenger.

I was considering Nitron too.
