That isn't quite what I was aiming for with my post. Subaru makes good engines. But the FA is shaping up to be a *great* engine.

It is possible that the first year engines might be a little over-built. Which, if Subaru and Toyota dial things back later, will make the first year engines the ones to have for builds in the future.

We shall see. AP's engine is still young.

Revving to 9k is around the 5000ft/min. If this engine can rev safely to 8500rpm it might be worth having that big turbo on there... .hmmmmmm. I'd like to see what a PTE 6262cea can do on this beast.

Don's exhaust system used in his car is 2.5 ", also has 3" available

My exhaust system on the vehicle is 2.5". I have a 3" available, but have not used it on my personal car.

Then I'm safe with my 2,5" frontpipe & axelback

When do you consider someone needs 3" exhaust piping? I mean CFM-wise, based on eaten air = power
