If your ECU has already been flashed once, it should be 0.

If you're going to reflash will it go back to 1?

No. It only needs to be at one for your first flash. After it pairs with your ECU that first time it changes from 1 to 0.

IMO, if its working leave it alone. I don't plan on changing anything until I get the next update from John. Then I'll update the software and install the new tune.

Yup. Know for sure all 3 are working problem free--pumpgas, e85, and factory so decided to leave it locked down as-is for now. I've always done an update right before installing a new tune though and will continue to do so.

Wow, Lots of tears in this post today..

so much for my post about being adults when you're on the bleeding edge of things. If you want to talk about poor business practices let's take a look here.

Yes,the hose was bottommed out on the black washer. This isnt the 1st oil cooler I have put in either, so I was a bit surprised with the clampless design. I warmed it up and drove it fine.

... Words....

...More words..

.. so there is plenty of option to get oil hot here, its over a hundred degrees and I drive like I just stole it. I'm admittedly quite abusive.

I'm, sure at higher speeds it can be more efficient, my testing was mostly on public roadways. I think the Mocal folks across the pond build a nice cooler, and aside from the hose barb issue I am impressed.

...More words..

The bummer is the aftermath, gonna go buy more degreaser and will bust out the power washer today. Everytime I run the car it smokes, from the massive amount of oil that came out, sump was bone dry, hope I didnt hurt the motor.

For this prototype test, I will gladly suggest you guys benefitted my testing.

I will call you to work out details like the costs associated with being this sort of tester for the group- I blew thru my stock of two jugs of subaru branded oil, all my microfiber rags, still need to do oil spill mitigation on the driveway(they make stuff for this), several jugs of degreaser to try and clean the bumper cover interior, etc.

My time is free to you and the community, but the clean up was not something I would want any other customer to go thru, and I was lucky to have been attentive and killed the motor within 10 seconds of the light coming on, but whew! close call!
So, you when you were done patting yourself on the back and admitting to driving at high speeds "abusively" on public roads, as well as lambasting Perrin publicly, a company you're testing for (this could have been easily handled privately for a prototype product not available to the public), you proceed to hold your hand out asking for compensation.

That sir, is the definition of poor salesmanship... but bully you. Whatever works. Public bitching gets you everywhere in life.

As far as waiting a whole 45 days. I cry for you sir. 45 days must have been an eternity. Never mind those of us who have been waiting even longer for the car. It must be good to be so entitled. So, after your public stink over the oil cooler, you convinced Perrin to send you a few comps and a tune, and decided you didn't want to pay John anymore despite pushing him to get you in on the group buy.

When that didn't work you threw the forum equivalent of a temper tantrum swearing up a storm, and then e-mailing everyone you could think of to try to get @visconti in trouble; Paypal, The forum moderators, and EcuTek. Good riddance, I'm sure Perrin is SOOOOO happy they are dealing with you.

Let's see how long it takes you to complain to someone about this post. It didn't take you very long with Brichard.

P.S. This isn't dedicated to anyone.

Hoolie? Yes, I got the pm you sent me, but once again you turn to the public outcry when I don't respond.

Here's a question. How much of a discount are you getting for all of the parts/tune? An exchange of goods can also be considered a form of payment (see bartering).

Finally, no, I dont have a lot of time. I just type fast, and have a good enough memory to remember posts I have read.
